Peloponnese Mountains
Greece can be described geographically as islands, mountains, and sea. Eighty percent of Greece is mountains. The Peloponnese Peninsuala consists of 7 mountain chains, Erymanthos, Mainalo, Minthi, Taygetos, Paronas, Ktenias, and Arachaio. Mountainous terrain separated Greek city states therefore each region developed their own way of life.
