Rick Steves' Rules!
1. Name one item we made in cooking class.
We made Tzatziki, Eggplant Moussaka (with Bechamel Cream), Chickpea Patties, and Baklavas
2. Why didn't I "whine" when wine was spilled on me at lunch on the Mani Peninsula?
I laughed and said that I was blessed with the wine because it was my birthday. I was surprised with a birthday sweet!
3. What RS rule did we (my husband and I) break twice?
We didn't roll our own luggage to our hotel rooms two times on this trip. Once at Hotel Marianna with (10 stair cases). The brothers swooped away our luggage when we arrived. The second was at Hydra. We paid a porter to roll our suitcases down the cobblestone roads to the Ippokampos Hotel.
4. What was the quirkiest hotel we stayed in?
Hotel Marianna, Nafplio - built into the mountain wall, hobbit like rooms, steps & steps, steps etc to get to the breakfast patio.
5. When did we (my husband and I) go off the beaten track?
We adventured beyond the Rick Steves' Guidebook when we went to the beach in Hydra "that was not named" (in the guidebook :-)
